Blooming Underneath

Wrap me in your arms of wheat
and of tilled barley
Throw your body of water
over me
Crash and burn and grow and
renew, I'm revealing
Blooming underneath
the linger of you

Wrap me in your arms of oak
of birch, of weeping willow
Leave my hair brittle with burn
and my eyes imbued with salt
The ambient sounds of wind in the trees
and waves repeating
Blooming underneath
the linger of you.
