Tomorrow he will find a bird. It will be a small bird, a brown one. It will tremble, and it will be afraid.
Tomorrow he will hold the bird, it's wings collapsed beneath the weight of it's heart.
He won't like this. This will hurt him. He will cry. He will yell. He will fall to his knees.
The bird will love this. The bird spent it's life alone, and these hands are warm. The bird will no longer be scared.
He will feel empty.
The bird will feel whole.
He will feel disillusioned.
The bird will feel bliss.
He will feel the world is an ugly place.
The bird will begin to believe in miracles.
He will keep living.
The bird will die.
Tomorrow he will find a bird. He will see the bird and the bird will see him. The bird will gaze into his blue eyes.
The bird will fly away.
He will not.
