Bitte Orca

bitte bitte bitte
look at the bas relief of
my ancient beating heart

humpback whale songs
feel the call in my
bones, I am
a slave to my
collective memory

return to the water
to access the cave of
ancestors
all sea faring and strong
Gods and Goddesses of
blood

Release the sheets into
the wind
I'll watch them drift off
the cliff towards Ireland
Uh, uh, uh, uh
I'll move back slowly
move backwards

Bitte Orca! Bitte Orca!
Teach me, oh wolf of the sea
We are intrepid
We are empowered and endowed
Adorned with sea salt!
Uh, Uh, Uh, I am
all and nothing
Ha-ha, the weathered king knows me well
He will tell you a tale or two
Here in our pack of water wolves
we will feast on you
