A story I wrote for a blog years ago:
When gypsy queen kaleigh met the wayward sparrow miranda, she instantly took a liking to her. miranda would sing softly in her ear all day and all night, and this would leave kaleigh with gentle dreams. but eventually, after being together for hundreds of years kaleigh began to understand what miranda was twittering, and the gypsy queen kaleigh learned that an evil, overeager youngster had turned miranda from a beautiful lyricist into a sparrow, never to speak or write the English language again. Kaleigh, having hundreds of years of gypsy queen exprience, created a concoction to release miranda of the spell. In a cloud of smoke, miranda arose and said in a strangely sing song voice "it's about friggin' time!" Kaleigh realized the magic of their meeting. Miranda too understood the grandeur of this tale, so they lived happily in the land of the camels and thieves until one day they realized they must go back to their homelands. these are the postcards and poems they share using a unique mindmeld. we just type them out for them.
